His extensive accumulation of experience in alluvial & elluvial mining operations in Sub-Saharan Africa includes diamond, uranium, iron ore, copper and coal mining projects.As owner and operator of an extensive earth moving fleet, John has achieved and maintained a number of long term successful operations. His horizons broadened with arrival in Australia with oil exploration rigs from Canada to set up and operate Simmons Cross Pty Ltd, a Canadian/Australian oil exploration drilling company.

As CEO, John took a green-fields public listed diamond mining project in Angola from scratch to employing over 60 persons securing a full suite of mining equipment, senior management, programming the entire project to a full status alluvial diamond mining operation. His recognition of the escalating world demand for precious metals prompted him to capitalize on past experience and extensive contacts to enter into the gold sector of the mining industry commencing in Democratic Republic of Congo.

He has a unique understanding of the African way of life, customs and idiosyncrasies. Essential knowledge when carrying out delicate negotiating with government ministers and bureaucrats on the African continent. From initial interests held in the copper, cobalt and associated minerals he had the foresight to realize the burgeoning world call for gold and other precious minerals,

Mr Renouf is a professional and practicing mining executive with over 20 years experience in the resources industry in Australia. Peter has garnered a wide spectrum of mining and drilling experience on site at the very coalface of the industry. Peter is a valuable asset to the management team. His extensive experience with drill hole and geological exploration programmes is an added plus which well qualifies him for his role of oversight as a Director of the Company. His overall long-term experience in both gas and minerals exploration often in remote and difficult locations has prepared Peter for the management skills required on an African project.
